Problemas que prejudicam as exportações de cargas conteinerizadas da Bahia

Abstract

This story of case presents some excellent imperfections in the logistic infrastructure of exportation of the Bahia, in special of container loads. The work is initiated standing out the importance of the logistic one for the exportation, with a historical briefing of the rescuer port and its paper in the foreign commerce, and also with the economic panorama of the exporting Bahia. Search to appraise and to show the utility of the necessary instruments to the flow of containers, as for example the modal ones of transport, ports and the proper one contêiner. In the work it was made a boarding on the current situation of the road mesh, railroad, and hidrovia of the state of the Bahia, of generic form, had the great extension of the state and the abrangência of the subject, beyond commenting some negative points of the EADI Salvador and the port of Salvador. In the text it is cited the scarcity of contêineres and boats in the port of Salvador, as one of the main impediments the bahian exportations, and its consequences for its foreign commerce. The story shows the potential that the Bahia has to develop its logistic one of exportation better, using to advantage its geographic position, that becomes possible the creation of railroads, that can bring comparative advantages in relation the neighboring states. The research was made on the basis of the reading and analyzes of logistic infrastructure problems told in articles, periodicals and reporters, always with acquired theoretical basement in books of recognized authors.
